Tim Wiechers is executive vice president and chief operations officer for Assurex Global. With more than 30 years of insurance company and broker experience, he is responsible for the overall corporate operations of Assurex Global to include finance, technology, subsidiary and captive management along with compliance to name just a few responsibilities.

A graduate of Capital University and Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio, Tim began his career at Ohio Hospital Insurance Company (OHIC) where he held numerous positions including president.

Upon leaving OHIC, he became president of a subsidiary agency that was ultimately purchased by Riggs, Counselman, Michaels & Downes, Inc. (RCM&D) of Baltimore, Maryland, where he then served as senior vice president and chief administrative officer.

Tim resides in Dublin, Ohio with his wife Kelly.
